The challenge of this brief was to create a futuristic product that was believable and had a logic in itself. Being related to science fiction, I was initially not convinced if the product could be too imaginary or not. After a bit of research on space in general and robots, I decided to focus on the problem related to the scarcity of light on the planet Harmonia and the problem of storm dust. How could I improve the mission under these conditions. In the end, as a final result I decided to create a brand of transformable and unique products (UMBRA), an ear gadget that turns into an eye-glasses and a space helmet. The glasses (and also the helmet) allow you to see under these extreme circumstances and therefore can greatly improve the space mission. For the ad of the design officer, I decided to create something very illustrative and creative, by putting the galactic space as a background and a person who ‘plays’ with the creativity of her mind in connection with the space environment.
