For this project we initially researched on Designer babies, the pros and cons and also held few surveys and questionnaires to get people’s opinion. After obtaining a lot of information and data, we decided as a final concept to focus on the designer babies who became products of the market.

 

With that being said, we created a campaign called ‘Babies not commodities’ based on an installation in town with babies inside incubators where people could take a price tag and use it as they please to support the campaign. At the end of the installation there would be a ballot box from which people can vote if they want to allow designer babies or not in the UK. We have also produced posters (with the website link) and a campaign website where people can get more info of this particular issue.
