In part 1A of the brief (week one) I created two boundary objects in collaboration with Myrofora Iro-Argyopoulou and Jack Ellitson. The boundary objects for part 1A had to act as a bridge between each pair. The first project ‘Splash’ is a boundary object that connected myself and Myrofora. We both had an interest in outdoor swimming but Myrofora was from Greece and I am from England. We learned that we did not know the best outdoor swimming locations outside of our own countries and this inspired us to create Splash. Splash is an app, which can be used globally, that show the best outdoor swimming locations around the world. The app presents a map showing all the locations and a newsfeed where people can post new discovered locations, talk about existing ones and provide recommendations.
