The place assigned was South Shields and the target audience for this brief were local tourists, visually impaired people and children. After having explored the place separately, as a team we decided to create something that had to do with the beautiful landmarks of the city. South Shields is famous for having unique landmarks and places to visit and our aim was to make the experience even better to locals, children and visually impaired people.

Eventually we decided to respond to this brief by creating an installation based on silhouettes of landmarks from a viewpoint so that everyone can see and visualize the view in a different and unique way. It would be new, interactive and it will make people able to start new conversations and discussions. The silhouette will also have Braille texts on it so that visually impaired people can read them and enjoy.

The challenge of this brief was to push local tourists to visit their usual landmarks and I think we nailed this challenge.
