This project was about sharing our interests, identifying commonalities and finally creating a boundary object about people. Something that will be used by different people but will include elements from each of us, creating a bridge between us.
With Jack, we created a card game as our boundary object. The main idea is that there are 5 card types in the game (Proteins, Vegetables, Herbs & Spices, Wildcards and Timecards). The players choose two cards each from the ingredients, one wildcard and one timecard. The Wildcard is an ingredient that originates from the UK or Greece. The Timecard dictates how long the players have to cook the randomised dish. The winner is whoever creates the best dish in the time given.
I focused on the card making part and decided I would create illustrations for the different ingredients and elements.
