As part of a live brief working with Newcastle’s P3 Clinical Research Unit we were challenged to explore new ways to promote and communicate the important role of the clinic and increase recruitment and retention of new participants for studies relating to chronic conditions.

After identifying several pain points within the clinical trial recruitment journey, I designed a streamlined, simplified sign up process that would allow users to search for trials and check their eligibility though a personalised webpage that is tailored to their own condition. The new P3 website is supported by a promotional campaign that aims to empower people who suffer from chronic illnesses to take back control of their condition, making them feel part of progress by building a sense of community pride.
