The challenge set for this brief was to create a campaign to persuade the section of the public who are undecided on their voting decision. We were given a range of social, economic, and environmental topics to persuade the public in which way we chose.

Holly Hornsby and I created a campaign that encouraged the voters to vote Yes in the referendum of introducing the use of medical record sharing in the UK. With such important and lifesaving benefits shared patient data provides, we wanted to show the public the correct information on the topic and really reveal how beneficial this could be if passed by law. We designed a set of posters that incorporated Augmented Reality to get a strong and powerful message quickly passed to the viewer. Our message was that Hospital care, scientific and health charity research is difficult and unclear without shared patient data. The person in the poster imagine would lead on to explain how life changing record sharing can be and the facts on privacy and security. A promotional letter and ‘future donor’ voting pledge card would be sent to the public in the post, and encouraged to post a selfie with their card to raise awareness and show their stance on the topic.
