The challenge was to create a boundary object between two people, using their hobbies and disciplines. For this project, the boundary object was created for editorial designers, architects and visual learners.
Using my background in Typography and Editorial Design and my love for paper craft, along with Iko’s background in Architecture, the solution was a prototype of a coffee table architecture book, that showed the projects in 3D, along with the usual images and information that would be found too. The pop-up pages were designed to be 3D replicas of their architecture counterparts, and the rest of the prototype was designed to be minimal.
